Who am I? My name is Nadine Gray, I am a 23 yr old Aussie wanderer who grew up in the desert in the middle of Australia.
Why "Papino"? My crazy sister Liana Werner-Gray came up with "Papino" during one of her hyperactive babbles a few years ago. There is no hidden meaning, there is no relevance to anything.... Its just "Papino."
Why the Website? After travelling for 12 months I decided it was easier to keep in touch with my friends & family around the world by writing a blog instead of separate emails to everyone. I soon discovered the interest in my casual, open & honest writing and decided to share it with the world. That's how Papino was born and has been kicking arse since!
How did the travel begin? When I was just 18 (and a little too mature for my age) I was working a 9-5 job, renting a house, was becoming the perfect little housewife and basically settling into a life I didn't fit. I was flown to Fiji for work and it opened my eyes to the endless possibilities in the world! I returned from that trip, quit my job, broke up with my boyfriend, left my home town and I was off to Europe less than 6 months later!

Where have I been? I would love to say I have conquered every continent and explored every city, but the truth is, I am wandering the world.. one country at a time. I have been to Europe 4 times and have visited most of its countries. I popped in to say hello to a few States of America, I have dabbled in Asia & the Pacific, had a few brief encounters with the Middle East, visited my neighbor New Zealand and have travelled most of my own beautiful country, Australia. I have lived in Prague, Berlin, Belgrade and Fiji.
What are my goals? To travel for the rest of my days. Wherever life may take me, whatever it may throw at me, I wish to wander for a lifetime. It the next 3 years I plan to publish a book, be paid to travel the world and expand this very website to be the best travel blog it can be! My biggest goal; to entertain YOU.
